I'm a developer, designer, and question-asker from California. I'm currently a senior at Olin College of Engineering, a tiny, experimental college in Massachusetts. I've self-designed my engineering concentration, entitled Human Centered Computing. I believe the language between design and development of products should be fluid and continuous. I design for people, in both the sense of creating intuitive interfaces as well as maintainable, efficient code. This site is a portfolio of my favorite class projects, clubs, hackathon projects, and jobs thus far.
While not busy at school, you can find me on the soccer field, volleyball courts, building or riding longboards, or backpacking anywhere I can.
I love meeting new people, so don't hesitate to say hello!
Olin Baja is a large project team at Olin that builds an off-road racing vehicle to compete in Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) collegiate MiniBaja competitions across the US. The team is completely student-run and builds and machines almost the entire car using the resources and shop on campus.
I led leading a rebranding effort in 2015-2016, to allow for effective and consistent visual communication for our team. We redesigned our team logo, decided on consistent fonts, comprised a color scheme, and more. To put everything together, I created a branding manual to summarize all of this information and more, such as template PowerPoint slides. The idea for this was to make it easy for team leads to give presentations, create marketing material, and more using consistent visual style across mediums.
Moreover, I've been working on the software subsystem to create a new website, keeping the new design practices in mind. This includes paper prototyping and coding the new site, using Node.js, Angular, and MongoDB.
